The Big Dream of an Artist Retreat

Several years ago Munkey and I were sitting around trying to decide where our lives were taking us. We were thinking about where and when we wanted to retire or even if we wanted to retire. All I knew was that I need to be out of the metroplex and in a quiet place so we started talking about an artist retreat. A plot of land that would have 10 or so cabins, a bunk house, and several different workshops for wood working, metal working, painting, writing, clay work, sculpting and a place to make music. And so the dream began. We haven't quite decided when the actual retirement will take place yet be we now know that there are 10 to 20 acres, somewhere in Texas, that has our name on it. This blog is to keep everyone updated on the progress and to get your input as we go along. So welcome to the dream, hope you will come along for the ride.
